IES Grant-funded collaborative researcher-practitioner teams – MICCR – are being funded to improve college and career readiness outcomes in small and mid-size communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Mid-Level Faculty and researchers interested in college and career readiness initiatives are invited to apply. We are looking for individuals who are engaged in education research at either universities or research centers from around the country. In addition to demonstrating past experiences in working with school and/or community partners, applicants should possess some expertise in using one or more quantitative, qualitative and/or mixed research methods, and can demonstrate an interest in the topic of college and career readiness.
POSITION DETAILS: The scope of responsibilities for being an MICCR Senior Research Fellow will be to provide support to enable the teams to use evidence-based strategies to improve college and career readiness outcomes, attend three annual two-day Institutes that will be held at Boston University (expenses paid), participated in online quarterly professional development, and bimonthly discussions with team members. EDUCATIONAL TRAINING REQUIRED: Terminal Degree in Education or a related field.
